Protest

Steven has been involved in a number of non-violent demonstrations in London. Notably, he protested against the war in Iraq under the Tony Blair government, against the use of electromagnetic radiation by the police and military outside Buckingham Palace in 2022, and he is vehemently opposed to war and especially the use of torture under any circumstances.

More recently, he has been a silent observer of protests taking place in London against the war in the Middle East, and of marches held by Extinction Rebellion and other environmental organisations.

Despite not ever having spoken at Speakers' Corner himself, Steven has visited the location on a number of occasions and in 2017 made a short vlog-style documentary about the day he went there for the first time, which can be viewed below.
